In Game 1 of the District 6 (9-10-11) All-Star Tournament, McCormick Ranch Little League defeated Fountain Hills Little League (13-3) at Ingleside Middle School.  The next game in the tournament will take place at 7:00 PM on Wed 6-16-2021 at Ingleside Middle School.

06/21/19 Perhaps exacting a little bit of baseball revenge, Arcadia Little League (ARLL) beat McCormick Ranch Little League (MRLL) tonight to win the Arizona District 6 2019 9-10-11 Baseball Championship. MRLL had handed ARLL its only defeat in the tournament in a pool play game that spanned 2 days.

Before today's regularly scheduled game, we resumed the game between Arcadia Little League (ARLL) and McCormick Ranch Little League (MRLL) that was suspended from the night before. MRLL won the game 13-8 and ran their record to 2-0, while dropping ARLL's record to 1-1.   It also guaranteed MRLL advancing to the finals.

The first regularly scheduled game featured Fountain Hills Little League versus ARLL.  Both teams came into the game with identical 1-1 records.  The winner would advance to finals.  ARLL came out victorious and advanced to the final.

The nightcap featured MRLL (2-0) and Mountain View Little League (MVLL; 0-2).  This game no longer had any bearing on the determining the participants in the final game.  With lights needing to be turned off by 10:00 PM the game was halted in the bottom of 5th inning with 2 outs and MVLL at bat with a 20-18 lead.  As a regulation game criteria being reached there was no requirement to resume this game at another time.

FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: a rematch of MRLL and ARLL on Friday evening at 7:00 PM

The early game was a 3-hour affair with Fountain Hills Little League (FHLL) defeating Mountain View Little League (MVLL). 

The late game (no pun intended) involving Arcadia Little League (ARLL) and McCormick Ranch Little League (MRLL) was suspended in the top of 5th inning with MRLL leading 6-4.  However, what added to the excitement was the need to move the game from the North field to the the South field during the 3rd inning. Yes, BEEEEEEES!!!

The 2019 AZ6LL 9-10-11 Baseball All Star Tournament got underway tonight.  Arcadia Little League and McCormick Ranch Little League won their first games.

The 2019 AZ6LL 9-10-11 Baseball All Star Tournament begins tomorrow evening at Ingleside Middle School.

McCormick Ranch Little League (MRLL) is the 2018 9-11 Baseball District 6 Champions.  MRLL played Mountain View Little League (MVLL) in a rematch of the first game of the tournament.  MRLL prevailed again to win by a 11-1 score.

This is the 12th year that District 6 is hosting this 8-9-10 Baseball Tournament and MRLL has now won it 3 times.

In this small pool play tournament, McCormick Ranch Little League (MRLL) took charge by winning its second and final game.  With its 11-2 victory over Arcadia Little League (ARLL), MRLL's record is now 2-0 and, as a result, is now in the championship game.  Their opponent will be the victor in the ARLL versus Mountain View Little League game on June 20 at 6:00 PM.

The Arizona District VI 9-10-11 All Star Baseball Tournament got underway this evening with McCormick Ranch Little League (MRLL) taking advantage of the new 15-run rule.  MRLL defeated Mountain View Little League (MVLL) 17-0.  This pool play tournament bracket can be found below.
